Students lead with kindness through Holiday Service ProjectsThis holiday season, Brookfield School proudly embraced the spirit of giving through a series of heartfelt community service initiatives led by its students. One of the highlights was the school’s participation in Run to Feed the Hungry, one of Sacramento’s most recognized charitable events. Organized by Dhruv Atray, a dedicated student leader, the Brookfield team joined thousands of participants to raise awareness and funds for families facing food insecurity. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by our students exemplified the school’s values of empathy and action. In addition to the run, Brookfield classrooms rallied together to support the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center. Students, families, and staff donated bins of non-perishable food items and toys, filling classrooms with generosity and holiday cheer. The response was overwhelming—hallways buzzed with excitement as donations poured in, reminding all that kindness and community spirit are at the heart of the Brookfield experience. These service projects not only helped local families in need but also provided students with meaningful opportunities to grow as compassionate, responsible citizens. Brookfield celebrates the initiative and leadership of its students and looks forward to continuing a strong tradition of community engagement in the years to come.
