Elementary School

Our admission process is a thoughtful journey, guiding families from Elementary School and beyond. We are committed to helping your child Rise to the Challenge, fostering a love of learning at every stage.

01
Apply early

Complete the application, attach a photo of your child, and follow instructions to pay a $100 assessment fee. Apply early for the best chance at a place. If space is limited, qualified applicants will be waitlisted.

02
Request teacher recommendation

Please give your child’s current teacher the teacher recommendation form and a stamped envelope. This form is to be mailed directly to Brookfield School by the teacher.

03
Schedule assessment interview

Book an admissions interview and placement test with the Admissions Director. Siblings of current students and Brookfield Preschool children have priority, but all applicants must qualify through the process.

04
All year enrollment

Open enrollment for new applicants begins mid-February.  New students may be accepted to Brookfield at any time of year, so long as space is available in the class.

05
Student's right fit

Some students show strong potential and enthusiasm for learning but may still be developing the foundation needed for an accelerated environment. Placement is based on performance in Brookfield’s admissions assessment to ensure the best fit for each student’s success and wellbeing.

06
Acceptance

Accepted students receive a Letter of Acceptance and Registration Agreement within a month of their admissions assessment. Those joining mid-year may be invited to spend a day or two as a guest in the recommended grade to ensure a smooth and confident transition.

07
Deposit and ready to start Enrollment

Confirm your child's place at Brookfield once the Registration Agreement is completed and the $500 tuition deposit and $150 registration and enrollment fees are received. These fees are non-refundable.

Preschool

Our Preschool admissions are simple and welcoming to give your child the best start. Young minds are nurtured with creativity, care, and curiosity from day one.

01
Confirm your child's place

To start your child’s continued journey with us, please complete and sign the Tuition Agreement and return it to the Brookfield Preschool office. This important step secures their spot in our vibrant learning community for the upcoming year.

02
Simplify payments with direct debit

For families opting for the ACH payment method, kindly submit the Direct Debit Authorization form alongside your Tuition Agreement. This convenient option streamlines tuition payments, allowing you to focus on your child’s growth and experiences.

03
Registration fee for new families

If you're joining our Brookfield family for the first time, a non-refundable $150 Registration Fee is required upon submission of your Tuition Agreement. This one-time fee ensures your child’s place and supports the enriching experiences that define our preschool program.

Brookfield Preschool nurtures young learners aged 2–5 in a joyful, supportive space where academic and social growth go hand-in-hand. Guided by the Core Knowledge Preschool program, children build foundational skills in language, literacy, math, science, music, and art, both indoors and outdoors.
Flexible scheduling is available for 2- and 3-year-olds (2, 3, or 5 days per week). Our 4-year-old Pre-K learners attend a full 5-day program, designed to prepare them for the Accelerated Kindergarten (Pre-first) year.
