Meet Ms. Gabe!

Ms. Gabrielle "Gabe" Raviolo joined the Brookfield Faculty in 2023 as our Math Specialist.  She is from Eugene, Oregon, where she completed her studies in Math, Environmental Studies and Geology. Ms. Gabe is passionate about social justice and protecting our environment.  She has worked as a community leader, educating, motivating and organizing fellow social justice warriors in the fight against fossil fuels.  Her background in Math allows her to explain and challenge her student's understanding of real-world issues like climate change and the allocation of scarce resources, through applied Mathematics.

Ms. Gabe's teaching experience includes 10 years as a private math tutor teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.  She also taught an after school program for four years instructing students in Math, Science, Personal Economics, and Art.  Additionally, she has led "hands-on" activities with students to help them learn about regenerative farming, recycling and composting in middle school.  She did this while teaching Integrated Math to students in grades 7 and 8th. When she is not busy teaching, Ms. Gabe enjoys walking her dog Coco, cooking, gardening, or playing the ukulele with her two kids, Jio and Sophia.  She has an upbeat personality and a contagious excitement for math that should motivate our students to love Math.
