Mr Matthew Tan joined the Brookfield Faculty in 2023 as the Math Specialist.   He grew up in San Jose and has worked in the Tech industry as a software engineer.  He loves Math and Tech and is excited to work at a school where he can do both!  He has experience teaching high school level Integrated Math through Level III, but he has only worked with younger students in Technology camps.   His goal as a Math teacher is to make each student feel comfortable and build self-efficacy toward these subjects.  He is patient and willing to give each student his time and attention until the student can work confidently and independently. 

Mr. Tan enjoys hiking, badminton, anime, and going out with his friends to try new Boba tea shop!
