Music
All students in grades P1-8 grade participate in weekly Music classes that introduce them to the basics of reading music, choral performance, music history, and musical theater.  Students also learn to play the recorder, melodica, and ukulele.
All students participate in the Annual Winter Concert.

Wind Ensemble and Strings
We offer a beginning band experience through participation in Wind Ensemble, that includes Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Trumpet, and Trombone.  This group is moderated by Music Teacher.

Students may learn to play the violin or viola through our weekly after school strings class.

Musical Theater
Students in grades 5-8 may select the Musical Theater Class that culminates in a full-scale musical enjoyed by the entire school community!  This is a great experience for budding actors, singers, dancers, and tech specialists.  Recent Musicals include:  Annie, Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Seussical, and Shreck.

Shakespeare Day
All students in grades 7 and 8 produce and perform in a condensed version of one of Shakespeare's plays.  The students are the actors, stage managers, directors, prop and set designers, and costume designers!  The entire school goes to the play and all dress in Elizabethan Faire clothing for the day.  It is great fun and our students become experts in Shakespeare.   When available, our 7th and 8th graders go to Ashland, Oregon to the Shakespeare Festival as well.
