Expect homework to be assigned daily in most classes.  In order to keep the pacing of the school's accelerated curriculum, students are required to apply themselves in class and study at home.  Most of the homework is assigned to allow the student to work independently with minimal parent assistance.  The role of the parent is to oversee the student's studies and provide the time and quiet study area for the student to work.  Parents may also help their child keep track of due dates and pace through assignments so they are turned in on time and demonstrates the student's best effort. 

 

Students in grades P1 and 1 receive weekly homework packets.

Students in grades 2 and 3 receive nightly homework with teacher guided instructions and calendars.

Students in grades 4 and up are required to a student agenda and record their homework nightly.

Additionally, many of our teachers post assignments on Google Classroom.  Students learn to upload their work and electronically submit it to their teachers.
