Entirely independent, the school is situated on five acres in the pocket neighborhood near the 43rd exit of I-5 at the corner of 43rd and Riverside Blvd. Through the years, Brookfield has become the traditional neighborhood school for college-bound students in the Land Park, East Sacramento, Greenhaven, and Pocket areas. However, students also come from as far away as Elk Grove, Davis, Carmichael, Folsom, and the foothills.

Brookfield opened its new facility on October 13th, 2014. The beautiful modern campus  now accommodates a K-8 school and a preschool on the same campus.

Students in grades P1 - 4 report to their homeroom classes at 8:50 a.m., where they remain with their core teacher for the homeroom session. Starting at the fifth grade level, classes are departmentalized with the students learning from quality instructors who teach  the subjects in which they have specialized. The primary-aged students also spend time with subject specialists, such as Spanish, French, Music, and PE; however, their primary teacher is with them for most of the day.

The School Day is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m., with a 1:00p.m. dismissal the first Friday of the month.  Students bring their own lunch from home, or have the option of ordering hot lunch from several local restaurants.
