New to Brookfield? Learn more about us during our Open Houses

Each month Brookfield will host an Open House for parents new to our school. Learn more about us with a personal guided tour, hosted by our Principal, Jo Gonsalves. Mrs. Gonsalves will give you a brief overview of Brookfield School, take you on a walking tour of the campus and classrooms, and follow up with a question and answer session to address any questions you might have concerning our program.

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Brookfield once again this year. The Book Fair will take place in the Social Hall. The Book Fair is a wonderful opportunity to purchase carefully selected, quality books and products. Our Scholastic Book Fair will be a great event for everyone. We invite you to attend and look forward to seeing you. Happy Reading!

After School Art Program

The Brookfield Parent Association is again offering an After School ART Program. Mollie Morrison will continue to teach the classes. Mollie is an experienced artist and trainer. She is very excited to be returning for her third year with the BPA Art Program.

The one-hour per week sessions will include discussions of artists, art history, art elements, principles of design, specialized techniques and, most important, hands-on projects. See flyer for more details. Near the end of the school year, on April 26th, students will again host an art show for their parents and school staff.

Brookfield Music Program

We are anticipating another exciting year at Brookfield School in the Music Department. Our mission is to create a life-long love and appreciation for music within our students by helping them explore all aspects of music. All music classes will participate in the annual Brookfield Music Program in May.

The music program with Jeri and Richard Clinger (of Galena Street East) includes the following classes:


Senior Show Choir for grades 6-8
Music Appreciation for grades 1-4
Intermediate Jazz Choir for grades 3-5
Exploring Music for grades 5-8
Primary Choir for grades pre-first-2

Students will provide their own soprano recorder.

Brookfield Strings

Liliya Taryanik is our Strings instructor. She is delighted to have the privilege of teaching music to our students and helping them to uncover their artistic talents and develop an inner appreciation for music.

The Strings classes are as follows:

Advanced Violin
Intemediate Violin
Beginning Violin

Students will provide their own instruments.
