Heritage Day at Brookfield Photo Gallery
Heritage is an important part of our society. It shapes
who we are and what we believe in. It reminds us of our ancestors
and the struggles they may have had, as well as the victories. To
celebrate our heritage, Brookfield School had a Heritage Day. Brookfield's
Heritage Day was a great way to get to know each other's cultural
background, and to notice each other's differences. All the students
spent the lunch hour guessing which country the various cultural
dress represented.
If you would like to test your cultural knowledge,
try the Heritage Day Game made by the 7th graders at Brookfield.
Click on the green Heritage Day Game link to play.
For a peek at the Heritage Day yearbook page, look
at the big picture below. If you want to see each student's cultural
dress photo separately, you can use the thumbnail gallery below
the big picture. You can see an enlarged individual picture by simply
clicking the thumbnail image. A new window will open up with the
enlarged picture. Just close the new window to come back to this
one.
