Facilities & Schedule

Entirely independent, the school occupies the educational facilities at 3600 Riverside Boulevard, south of Broadway near the Sutterville Road exit of I-5. Through the years, Brookfield has become the traditional neighborhood school for college-bound students in the Land Park, East Sacramento, Greenhaven, and Pocket areas. However, students also come from as far away as Elk Grove, Davis, Carmichael, Folsom, and the foothills.

Students report to their homeroom classes at 9 a.m., where they remain with their core teacher for the homeroom session. At the sixth grade level, classes are departmentalized with the students learning from quality instructors who teach only the subjects in which they have specialized. Even the primary students have four teachers (homeroom, computer, French and P.E.). However, their primary teacher is with them for most of the day.

The School Day is Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Fridays, the break period is extended for a snack period and physical education is omitted. Students bring their own lunch from home.
